Privacy Policy
True Cost Project keeps this site simple. We do not run our own analytics, tracking pixels, account system, comments, or native forms.

What We Collect
True Cost Project does not collect personal information through this website. We do not run our own analytics, advertising pixels, visitor accounts, comments, or native contact forms.
Like any public website, the service that hosts and delivers these pages may process ordinary request data needed to send the page to your browser, such as an IP address, browser information, requested URL, and time of request. We do not use that information to identify visitors.
Social Media Embeds
The home page may load an Instagram feed through Curator.io. That embed can cause your browser to connect to Curator.io and social media services. Those providers may receive technical information from your browser under their own policies.
Read the relevant policies here: Curator.io Privacy Policy and Instagram Privacy Policy. If your browser blocks social embeds, the site shows a direct Instagram link instead.
Forms, Tips, and Donations
When you use a form, tip channel, donation page, or membership link from this site, the destination may be handled by an outside service. Information you choose to submit there is handled by that service, not by this static website.
External services may include Google for forms, CryptPad privacy and security documentation for privacy-forward tip or collaboration workflows, and Patreon for donations or memberships.
If you email us, your message, email address, and any information you include will be visible to us and to the email providers involved in delivering the message. Do not send sensitive information unless you are comfortable using email for that purpose.
Privacy Tools Are Welcome
We encourage tracking prevention. Tools like uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, and Decentraleyes can reduce third-party requests and tracking. If a privacy tool blocks our social embed, that is good practice; use the direct social link instead.
